Balmoral Sailing Club was built in 1975 and by 2020 needed a comprehensive renovation. Throughout our job, Jetcharm was extremely easy to communicate with, which was a priority for us. One of the Jetcharm team was always willing to listen to our needs and concerns but also acted on these needs and concerns when appropriate and communicated back to us. A`s an owner this allowed us not to be frustrated or concerned at any stage about our addition.
The timeline of the job was exceptionally smooth. We found stock was ordered and at no stage was our job held up, even though we did have problems with the window measurements supplied by the architect. Our foreman was always planning ahead.
Another aspect of the Jetcharm team which I need to comment on, is their attention to detail. At the end of the job and as a proud house owner, it was the attention to detail which makes our extension ‘special’. Many people have commented on the house during and after completion and it is the detail they most commonly comment on. Many aspects around the detail were changed during the job, where members of the Jetcharm team provided suggestions. We learnt to trust these suggestions. Now after living in the house for 8 months, these details have proved to be the best decisions.
The Jetcharm Team was also very polite, and we had comments from neighbours about the consideration given to them with regards to noise and parking.

The brief from the owners for this home renovation was for the residence to be faithfully restored to its former glory while providing a contemporary way of living for a modern family. Jetcharm Constructions were appointed to carry out the work. All work was to be completed using highly qualified tradesmen and superior materials. The team dealt with all the building issues you would expect with an older property with patience and diligence. Remedial work was carried out with ingenuity and first-rate materials. Jetcharm’s tradesmen proved to be the best of their respective kind. The property at Bradleys Head Road is a heritage listed, substantial two storey dwelling built in about 1902 during the early 20th Century residential boom in Mosman. It is an excellent example of the Federation Queen Anne style of architecture. It had been dramatically altered since original construction and the previous modifications were poorly conceived and executed.
The brief from the current owners for this renovation was to remove the carport, add a media room, dressing room, guest bathroom and gym, and remove all parts of prior renovations that were unsightly and poorly constructed. The residence was to be faithfully restored to its former glory while providing a contemporary way of living for a modern family.
Jetcharm Constructions were appointed to carry out the work. All work was to be completed using highly qualified tradesmen and first-rate materials.
The building project comprised of:
The construction of a double garage with media room over linked to the original dwelling.
The demolition of the existing deck to the rear and the construction of a covered verandah.
The construction of a new wing comprising a dressing room, guest bathroom and powder room.
Renovating all existing bathrooms.
Relocation of internal stairs, kitchen, and Laundry.
Existing walls and doors removed and replaced.
The construction of an attic space within the existing roof lines.
The construction of a covered timber deck and pergola in the pool area enclosure.
The renovation was substantial and took over 18 months. The building period and the contract value increased due to remedial work that was necessary to the existing fabric of the building.
Your team dealt with all the building issues with patience and diligence. Remedial work was carried out with ingenuity and superior materials. Inferior detailing was corrected. New detailing was carried out in correctly selected and sized materials. Jetcharm’s tradesmen proved to be the best of their respective kinds.
